The second edition of SOFIA LIGHTS transformed Vrana Park with the aim of detaching the urban person from the busy routine and immersing them in an extraordinary offline experience in contact with nature and their inner peace. The installations presented were distinctly minimalist – this was not a show or a spectacle, but a series of slow and meditative light installations that responded to the public’s longing for tranquility and a meaningful experience.

Every visitor had the opportunity to discover the magic in their own way and at their own pace, passing through four large-scale works:

• “Megalith” – just as in ancient times, this was a special place for connecting with the Universe.
• “Presence” – the installation explored the closeness to the forest and its mysterious spirits.
• “Fireflies” – the mating ritual of a special species of North American fireflies was recreated with absolute precision, so that the urban person could sink into the magic of these amazing creatures that are increasingly rarely seen in the city.
• “Invisible Threads” – due to the immense interest from the first edition, this iconic work was presented again.
